Hey Carol – thank you. And you do the exact same for me! Keep writing, my friend! And together, let’s just shine the light of Jesus as best we know how with the feeble words God gives us. The rest is up to him. Love you so much!!!
]]>Thanks, Katie. I appreciate your support and taking the time to comment. You can read my above comment to Dot Holleman – but in essence, blogging is sometimes terrifying for me. It’s not something I take lightly!
]]>Thanks, Dot! I appreciate your supportive comments and pray that my words are purely a reflection of God’s heart. I always hesitate a LONG while before hitting that “publish” button – because it’s a call I take very seriously when I’m trying to convey the heart of our maker using my simple English words!!! Praise God whenever that is actually achieved.
]]>Ahhhh! Thanks so much for this story, Char! There is definitely more than one viewpoint toward the definition of poor! Third world countries have so much to teach us and if only we could go to those places as students instead of “saviors” I think we would definitely come away richer for the experience. And then, to be poor in spirt is yet another way to define the word – and truly, the greatest poverty of all. Lord Jesus, show us how we can best love our friends and neighbors regardless of their type of poverty. Give us eyes to see it and wisdom to know the response that gives you glory!
]]>Thanks, Brenda! Blessings to you and your family today as well!
